Posted on these cats (or is it a solo act? not sure….) before to wrap up the official inaugural day here at the new Kitchen back in October but now that they just dropped their mixtape yesterday and Drake has cosigned it, there’s a MAJOR buzz happening, at least in the circles I run in here in Toronto. Check it out and tell me if you think all the fuss is warranted (me personally? I’m digging the Siouxsie & the Banshees “Happy House”-sampling “House Of Balloons/Glass Table Girls”):

    I thought it was a group at first too, but I’m thinking it’s just Abel (who does vocals).

    Whatever it is, The Weeknd is going far.
