Couple joints from a Toronto artist new to me, one a free verse over Kodak Black’s “Roll In Peace” and the other a tribute to Kobe Bryant’s retirement.
Don’t really know HOTO but we’ve been featuring Luu Breeze on the blog, on and off, for years now. Good record…
This is super old (like 11 months old!) but we really like this record.
I have a friend who thinks Drake is ‘not really a rapper’ but refuses to debate the issue when challenged on this viewpoint. While I think she’s crazy, she’d have a point if she was talking about this track. While its a cool song, if druggy electronic soul is your thing (and let’s face it, it seems to be many people’s thing nowadays), it also seems a bit rich for this song to be labeled ‘hip-hop & rap.’ I mean, seriously??
Surprised I wasn’t sent this from a PR agency or the label. Only got wind of this new joint by Moka when I was in the new release section of Spotify! By the way, have you checked out our brand new DK- FRESH PICKS playlist there yet?
