“I recorded the verse in three differing styles for this tune before finally getting something that worked. It’s easy for that heavily layered counterpoint vocal style to sound a bit like a musical pinball machine; things popping out at you all over the show – theme park house of horrors style. I think the result is a bit more chilled than that thankfully. Benji B selected it for his top 10 tracks of 2009 which was an honor for us.”
