Just got this one from the homie, KP over at the OG mixtape site, datpiff.com. Not loving their name too tough but digging the music so I’ma give ’em a pass on that for now. This sounds like some classic boom-bap style hip hop to me: lyrical MC’s doing they 1-2 thing over some hard beats. Otherwise known as my kind of hip hop! Toronto’s ‘Cashman’ Decries the Violence Plauging the Local Gold Business

If you live in Toronto and have a TV you no doubt have seen the cheesy but funny ads for Russell ‘The Cashman’ Oliver’s Jewelry buying business like the classic new wave-inspired one above. Who knew the Toronto cash-for-gold industry had become riddled with violence including incidents of arson and alleged murder-for-hire plots though? Crazy!

Why Does President Obama Wanna Get in the Middle of the Michael Vick Conversation??!

Seriously, why inject yourself into the debate about that lightning rod, no matter how well he’s done this season? What possible upside could there be??! I don’t get it…

I was kind of mad at myself for not posting it last today ‘cos it would’ve have been a good mellowed-out project to wrap up the night with but he’s also involved with this jazz-flavored project which actually dropped a while ago but I’m just getting to properly now.
