Nadege Winter, Style Advocate: “I’m always checking the web on my BlackBerry Torch. It’s fantastic, because I can update my eco fashion blog anywhere.”

I know this isn’t new but I think a lot of y’all slept on this Toronto female MC’s At Last album which dropped last Summer. DON’T!!!! It was one of the best hip hop records of 2010 and more hardcore than a lot of the music by the so-called top MC’s in the game who get all the attention on radio and television. And it wasn’t just me who thought that: Eternia did get hella press acclaim. At Last is worth your time if you love great, hip hop in the classic boom-bap tradition: check it on iTunes HERE.
I respect this young lady’s hustle. She reached out to me without the aid of a PR company and was more professional in her approach than some so-called adults: simple but informative pitch, properly-tagged mp3, and website links & artwork all included. Take notes, people! Peep game:
“I am a 16-year old female rap artist from Philly named Zay Bucks. This is my new single “Kisha” feat. Sole Barbie produced by Dilemma’ Hello World Music off my new mixtape Realest in the High School. Here’s the link to the mixtape! Thank you for taking the time to listen.”

Y’all dig? This is the other side of life in high school that’s not sensationalized in the media, word to ABC.
