Love this! Styles P is way underrated as an MC. He may not have the punchlines of Jada but he has far more depth, dimension and soul as an artist, IMHO. The Capo-style ad-libs add a little levity on this one too!

I know this ain’t ‘new’ by blog standards but people are sleeping on Apollo Kids horribly, 1. partly because of the non-existent promotion by Def Jam and the fact that they threw out the album right before Christmas which was ill-advised (tell me Ghost couldn’t have had a shot at a #1 in the much less-competitive and quieter post-holiday January release period??) and 2. because I feel like cats are now taking Ghost for granted and he lost some love from that semi-ill-advised Ghostdini ‘R&B album’ and 3. after Rae smashed it with his Cuban Links 2 triumph. I heard this on The Real Frequency show this past Monday though so figured I’d post it in support.
Also check out this heater featuring Joell Ortiz and Game. Can people please stop sleeping on Game. I’ve been saying for for like six years now that dude is f-cking NICE and there’s still doubters out there. WTF??! How many times he gotta wreck these mics before y’all get it??
