[Audio] The Final Shows for CKLN’s ‘Mixtape Massacre’ and Flow 93.5’s ‘The Real Frequency’

I got into this on Tuesday night but let me just reiterate one more time: the cancellation of these two long-running specialty hip hop radio shows (and others, see below…) in Toronto does not augur well for a scene that, after all these years, is finally finding it’s swag, realizing it doesn’t have to look down South to the US for inspirational or validation and, ironically in the process of doing that, finally getting it’s respect & commercial validation in the US market and beyond anyway through acts like Drake, K’naan, Kardinal Offishall, K-os and Shad. So enjoy the greatness of these two pillars of the Toronto underground scene (hopefully not) one last final time and then act like you know:
