I’d never even heard of these cats until I got an email promoting this, their apparent first-ever headlining show in NYC last night but the claim (up there in the post title) that they are “New York’s answer to Odd Future“, made in a recent New York magazine article was what really caught my attention. Ya dig (or agree?)
From the Fool’s Gold Loosies hip-hop comp which dropped yesterday. Donnis got a Juvenile thing going on in this track, no? Listen to more tracks from Loosies HERE | BUY IT on iTunes
Pretty radical reworking of the “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” track from Kendrick Lamar‘s acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d city album. Too radical for you though? Then maybe his collab with Dido on her single “Let Us Move On” is more your speed? And wanna read that Kendrick Exclaim cover story? CLICK HERE
Wale on his grind nowadays it seems! (related: Hot 97 Peter Rosenberg speaks on that exact topic amongst many others in his interesting recent interview with Conspircay Worldwide Radio. Worth a click, trust!)

Sounds like a Lex Luger beat, kept expecting to hear that signature sound effect that sounds like an engine in one of those pod racers from Star Wars: Phantom Menace that Luger uses on every track. Not sure if he did actually produce this (?) but track is from DJ Paul (of Three 6 Mafia)’s A Person of Interest album. Dig it? Order it here: Select-O-Hits (old school!) | iTunes
