Now this is f-cking cool! T.dot MC, King Reign, author of one of my favorite tracks of all time, “Guilty Party” (which I blogged waaaay back in the day) is back with a new joint that reinterprets UK new wave/post-punk outfit, XTC‘s “Dear God” for the beat on his song of the same title. Nice! Thanks to the homie, Click for the heads up in this one….

Full disclosure, new buzzy producer, Moon Boots is managed by my homegirl who sits across from me in the office I work at but I’ll tell you what: I’d have posted this even if that wasn’t the case, anyway. Track is fire. Ya dig? Hit the jump for Moon Boots’ own track, “Love Strong.”
Long time readers are probably aware that I was a MAJOR fan of The Slakadeliqs’ The Other Side of Tomorrow album. So you know I was beyond psyched (pun kind of intended as you will see….) when I spotted this new track on RDIO. Clearly Slakah is exploring the sixties aspects of the ‘deliqs’ gumbo stew sound on this Beatles-esque, psychedelic slow burner, presumably a taster from their next album [correction: according to his soundcloud page this is a “Bonus Track to U.K. release of Slakah the Beatchild’s Psychedelic Soul project “The Slakadeliqs”. Check the video HERE“]. Nice….
