New sh-t from Young Money affiliate, Tyga, a dude that many of you probably think I’d hate but whose 2012 album, Careless World: Rise Of The Last King, I actually really liked!

Dedicated to everyone who’ll be going in tonight for St. Patrick’s Day (and those of you who went in this past weekend!)
One last one for the weekend. This soultastic take on chopping and screwing a track (in this case Sade‘s “Sally”) is a perfect way to end to a Sunday evening.
Toronto rapper/producer, Don Cash has re-branded himself as The Rulez and come up with a winner in this It Is What You Make It album. Vibey instrumental beat music, this is recommended for those of you into chill out, left-field/experimental beat and trip hop vibes. He also has a couple vocally-based full-legnth projects that have dropped recently too but for my money, this is the one you need to be paying attention to. Thoughts from the peanut gallery though??

Don’t know much about this one tbh. Just popped up on my soundcloud feed because I follow Giles Peterson‘s Bronswood Recordings on there. It’s a corker though. More info here from the post page:
The second single from Zara McFarlane’s highly acclaimed second album ‘If You Knew Her’, ‘Open heart’, is released digitally on the 28th April.
Flipping the script, on Zara’s beautiful song Swindle (Deep Medi Musik) takes ‘Open Heart’ to new directions, adding his trademark sound that has seen him transcend the worlds of grime & dubstep with his jazz inflected keys, sub-heavy riddims and raw percussion.
