As long-standing readers know, The Kitchen ain’t just about hip-hop and right now, this is what I’m f-cking with . Dirty, heavy guitar sh-t from Toronto signed to Sub Pop. Some have said it’s all noise, no melodies but I beg to differ. There’s plenty of melody and hooks on this record buried (not so) deep within the glorious wall of noise that is the METZ sound.
