Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock (or actually have a life), by now you know that the announcement is that Jay Electronica has signed to Roc Nation, thereby breaking Diddy’s heart and creating the best new hip hop roster in the game along with J. Cole (Sorry Young Money). What else could Jay do? Signing to Bad Boy could never have been a serious consideration, could it? After all, it’s not 1995 any more!
My skepticism of the over-the-top hype surrounding Jay Elec, notwithstanding, I have to admit that this track is very good. Lyrically bananas….
