[MP3] The Extremities (Fresh Kils & Uncle Fes) – The Mint Condition Pt. 2 w/ Ali Shaheed Muhammad

The Extremities (Fresh Kils & Uncle Fes) - The Mint Condition Pt. 2 w/ Ali Shaeeh Muhammad artwork

Not sure the story behind this one or how Andrew (Fresh Kils) hooked up w/ Ali Shaheed of the iconic A Tribe Called Quest (was it during his most recent trip to the city to spin this past weekend or during Red Bull Thre3Style last Fall, I wonder??)

[MP3] Guzo Lou – Tunnels feat. Junia-T

Guzo Lou - Tunnels Ft. Junia-Tartwork

One of my favorite tracks off the actually pretty solid Old Roads EP by local Toronto producer/songwriter Guzo Lou which dropped recently. Listen to the entire thing HERE. You non-T.dot folk wondering where you’ve seen Junia-T‘s name before? Probably from the Smash Brovaz Think It’s A Game album that dropped last year or from the other tracks I’ve posted on the Kitchen previously featuring him.

[MP3] Two New Tracks from Skrillex feat. Chance The Rapper and Fatman Scoop

Skrillex - Coast Is Clear (Feat. Chance The Rapper) artwork

This is just two tracks. If BLKBVD‘s soundcloud feed is any indication though, Skrillex has just dropped a grip of new (?) tracks. Depending on your taste, some of the other stuff (one track w/ the UK’s Ragga Twins) might be more to your liking.

[MP3] Pharrell feat. The Notorious B.I.G. – Happy (DJ Rob Dinero Remix)

Pharrell feat. The Notorious B.I.G. Happy (DJ Rob Dinero Remix)

What coulda been, huh? A little track remixing Pharrell‘s Oscar-nominated smash, “Happy” interpolating Notorious B.I.G.‘s feature verse from R. Kelly‘s “(You To Be) Be Happy” (you see what he did there??) to celebrate the anniversary of the passing of one of Brooklyn’s finest yesterday. This ain’t bad but wish I could say hearing this made me happier though! : ( RIP B.I.G.
