Listen to the Muneshine – There Is Only Today album in FULL

This album by local rapper, Muneshine dropped a while ago (end of May to be exact) but figured I should still share it now. Drop a note if you dig (or if you don’t!) [note: alt stream link at bandcamp just in case this soundcloud link goes down]

New Music: Chin Injeti – Peoples Mixtape

New mixtape by Vancouver-based producer, Chin Injeti featuring David Banner, Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica, Kitchen fave, Jasiri X, Zaki Ibrahim and many others. “Who Am I” is hot – a nice re-flip of the classic A Tribe Called Quest track, “Buggin’ Out.”

New mixtape by local MC, Berg Beaugé hosted by other local MC on the rise, Blake Carrington and featuring Rich Kidd and Junia T of Smash Brovas. Solid!

[Audio] Lisa Banton – Mirror Mirror Vol. 2 R&B Mixtape

Latest mixtape from local (T.dot) soul singer, Lisa Banton. Some have dismissed her as a poor man’s Mary J. Blige but there’s some talent here. I’d like to to hear her start to do more original music instead of these mixtape style remakes though. Check it out and let me know what you think.
