‘Brand’ New Music: King Reign – Brand New (from DJ Dow Jones The Free Trade Agreement)

From Reign:

“This is the first single off of The Free Trade Agreement, originally an idea from Canadian Shadyville DJ’s representative DJ DOW JONES, has snowballed into one of the most anticipated projects in 2 countries for 2011. The project is focused on creating a solid working relationship with talent in both Canada and The United States. It will feature over 18 individuals working together to create one solid project. Meshing the sounds of Canadian producers with American artists, and vice versa, is a simple concept but has proven to yield incredible results. DJ Dow Jones has also enlisted the talents of another Shadyville Dj, Mr. Peter Parker together they have scouted some of the hottest talents in both countries and combined them all into one packaged project The Free Trade Agreement. With a first quarter release slated, we can all expect enough new music to last us the entire year. Stay Tuned!”

Hmm, sounds like a project I’ve been trying to get off the ground for closing in on a year now that Reign was supposed to be a part of of! Just sayin’….

New from Keys N Krates: Give Me the Night w/ Grand Theft / Lyrics Born – Lies X3 (remix)

MP3: GIVE ME THE NIGHT – KEYS N KRATES & GRANDTHEFT by Keys N Krates

This collab with Grandtheft is apparently the official first single by Toronto live remix crew Keys N Krates (?). I’m confused, it still sounds like another refix/remix track instead of an orginal track??

Hit the jump for their remix of Bay Area MC, Lyrics Born‘s “Lies X3”

New Music: Emay – Racist On Purpose

Had this one for a minute but today seemed like the right day to post it:

MP3: Emay – Racist On Purpose [mediafire download link]

“The concept of this song was to put myself in the shoes of a white supremacist in order to show how hateful us humans can be based on our insecurities alone. Produced and written by me. The sample is a song by Mount Eerie. I’ll let you find which one it is if you really want to know haha. I’m still in the process of working on my solo album plus a project with Star Slinger and Blackbird Blackbird as Seeing Suge.”
