We just got up on this new Brooklyn-based by way of Philly artist, yellow shoots recently and enthusiastically supported his last single, “desert rose.” We are loving his throwback blend of pop, rock, funk and soul here at the Kitchen. When people (erroneously) complain that there’s no ‘real’ or ‘good’ music being made any more, they are conveniently ignoring the existence of artists like this.
