Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past 48 hours, you know Kanye West premiered both Season 3 of his Yeezy clothing line collaboration with Adidas and his new The Life of Pablo album at a combined Fashion Show/Listening Event at Madison Square Garden two days ago (see the Facebook embedded gallery of screenshots from the TIDAL #tidalxyeezy3 #YeezySeason3 Livestream of the event featuring Naomi Campbell above).
It’s not clear to me when the album will actually be available even though various media sources keeps claiming it’s already ‘out’ (if it is, it’s, surprisingly, not on Jay Z‘s Tidal streaming service. UPDATE: sounds like Ye might be making some last minute changes to the album)
Music from a new Toronto artist, Elcee that I just got up on. Track is from his LeoSoul album that just dropped which you can check out HERE: Bandcamp | Soundcloud
Also, props to Elcee for putting me up Life and Wisdom clothing and their excellent To Live and Die in T.O sweatshirt which he sports in the “Jelly” video above.
I wouldn’t normally post a fashion brand EPK like this but I did happen to watch it and I respect where they’re coming from aesthetic and business-wise (all American-made!). Plus I really dug the last track they used, “5891” by Com Truise so I figured, “WTF?” and decided to post both here since I missed posting anything yesterday (Thursday) due to work commitments. Enjoy and good night!
As seen in Metro paper this morning! Also via The Star:
Yo, it won’t be easy to get the Yeezy.
If you have your heart set on getting Kanye West’s new signature shoe, the highly anticipated Nike Air Yeezy 2, your only chance to buy it at a reasonable price is to enter a raffle.
Only three stores in Toronto will be getting the $300 men’s shoe and all are offering it only through raffle, not on site. Livestock on Spadina Ave., Capsule shoes on Yorkville Ave. and Nike Toronto on Bloor St. W. have been deluged for weeks with calls about the shoes.

Honestly, I guess I’m too old now but I’m not really feeling this shoe at all so I don’t get the frenzy. This is what I’m rockin’ nowadays at less than half the price, thank you Converse. I guess Nike don’t care, they’re getting my money either way!
