This underground classic EP was written and recorded in a week in San Diego, California and features the melodic and bass heavy rhythms signature to Westcoast Hip hop. Guest appearances include Bo Roc of “Summertime in the LBC” fame, Long Axe of Tha Beggaz and production of Da Cannibus Club. The lead single “Dego Evenings” featuring songstress Jessica Kaya, will be featured in the upcoming movie, Beat The World, written and directed by the same writer who wrote the highly successful studio picture, Stomp The Yard.”

I featured this young female MC, Devynity before when her Genesis…The Prequel mixtape first dropped. “Pleasure,” shot and edited by “King” David Cortorreal and John Carr and produced by Ryan Perfect for Audio Pictures, is the first video from it.

I know this isn’t new but I think a lot of y’all slept on this Toronto female MC’s At Last album which dropped last Summer. DON’T!!!! It was one of the best hip hop records of 2010 and more hardcore than a lot of the music by the so-called top MC’s in the game who get all the attention on radio and television. And it wasn’t just me who thought that: Eternia did get hella press acclaim. At Last is worth your time if you love great, hip hop in the classic boom-bap tradition: check it on iTunes HERE.
I respect this young lady’s hustle. She reached out to me without the aid of a PR company and was more professional in her approach than some so-called adults: simple but informative pitch, properly-tagged mp3, and website links & artwork all included. Take notes, people! Peep game:
“I am a 16-year old female rap artist from Philly named Zay Bucks. This is my new single “Kisha” feat. Sole Barbie produced by Dilemma’ Hello World Music off my new mixtape Realest in the High School. Here’s the link to the mixtape! Thank you for taking the time to listen.”
