New Music: Bloodtype feat. Big K.R.I.T. – I Have Dreams (prod. by XV)

Not sure that title is an MLK reference but this dropped today so the timing seemed right about too:

New Music: Emay – Racist On Purpose

Had this one for a minute but today seemed like the right day to post it:

MP3: Emay – Racist On Purpose [mediafire download link]

“The concept of this song was to put myself in the shoes of a white supremacist in order to show how hateful us humans can be based on our insecurities alone. Produced and written by me. The sample is a song by Mount Eerie. I’ll let you find which one it is if you really want to know haha. I’m still in the process of working on my solo album plus a project with Star Slinger and Blackbird Blackbird as Seeing Suge.”

Introducing the Petroleum Empire Media Group (P.E.M.G.) Collective

P.E.M.G. is a collective of high school-aged MC’s mentored by the social activist, NYOil formerly known as Kool Kim, of the progressive 90’s hip hop group UMC’s. I dig what they’re about. Check the 6-video playlist above including five videos from their weekkly cypher sessions and one of an appearance at ‘Live @ Best Buy’ last month ….
