New Music: Art of Fresh – Camp Fire Music

This is kind of old (and actually from their last debut album, Back to Earth not the excellent new When the Night Comes In album) but their publisher, Modiba recently sent it out as their ‘Track of the Week’ so I’m sharing it with you….

New Music: Arabesque – Devil’s Deposit

I’m living this right now!

“In a world where cash is king and credit is the devil, Besque brings you the “Devil’s Deposit.”

This the one for the credit card antics, fanatics that live by their plastics, the devil, the one they call Amex.”

Music Video: Lexicon – Calls

California hipster-rap duo signed to a French record label. Go figure….

MP3: Lexicon “Calls” by Laitdbac Records

From the Rapstars album, irony of that title fully-intended, I’m sure… (can you imagine dudes like this trying to put an album out under that title in say, 1992? How things have changed – for the better I think though, no?)

New Music: Jay Electronica – Jazzmatazz feat. Tone Treasure

MP3: Jay Electronica – Jazzmatazz (Ft. Tone Treasure) by Jay Redd

Apparently a Guru (of Gangstarr, R.I.P.) tribute?? Do he sound like Craig Mack a bit at the beginning or is that just me?

More on the featured vocalist Tone Treasure over at Nah Right.
