Music Video: Jigz Crillz – Countin’ Money feat. 6Ten & CokeKey$ Car’tel

T.dot ish….

Jay Electronica feat. Jay-Z, The-Dream & Charlotte Gainsbourg – Shiny Suit Theory

Two Jay Elec posts in a row? Believe it! I’m on this bandwagon and the air up here smells lovely! More seriously though, I Got A Love for this track….

Jay Electronica ft. Jay-Z & The Dream – Shiny Suit Theory by Hevehitta

Sidebar: I’m kind of assuming that scratchy, vintage sounding female vocal at the end was Charlotte Gainsbourg (correct?) but where was The-Dream on this track??!

New Music: Jay Electronica – The Announcement ‘featuring’ John F. Kennedy

Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock (or actually have a life), by now you know that the announcement is that Jay Electronica has signed to Roc Nation, thereby breaking Diddy’s heart and creating the best new hip hop roster in the game along with J. Cole (Sorry Young Money). What else could Jay do? Signing to Bad Boy could never have been a serious consideration, could it? After all, it’s not 1995 any more!

My skepticism of the over-the-top hype surrounding Jay Elec, notwithstanding, I have to admit that this track is very good. Lyrically bananas….

Hit the jump to watch video of Jay-Z making the, er…. actual announcement. (more…)

New Music: Swizz Beatz feat. DMX & Busta Rhymes – Ya’ll Don’t Really Know
