New Music: Matt Reeves – Get Signed or Die Trying

Full promo album from Staten Island’s Matt Reeves.

I’ve been diggin’ this kid since I discovered him a couple months back and have been supporting his music hard-body on the old Kitchen since then. You say you’re sick of the over-blown rappin’ ‘n’ trappin’ talk in hip hop? The ’emo rap’ is kinda corny or too soft for you also? Want some ‘every man’ rap that is really talking about something and touches your soul? Check this out and tell me if it’s hits the mark ‘cos it does for me.

Hit the jump for one of Matt’s previous videos (there’s mroe but they’ve been removed due to some outstanding business issues)… (more…)

Music Video: Mellow Man Ace – Energy feat. Medusa

Talk about throwback! This is two sides of the coin as far as 90’s, West Coast hip hop goes. I digs though. Mp3 stream below:

Video: WolF J McFarlane presents Sit With Me at The Gladstone (Oct. 17)

I dig this kid’s artistic vision. Watch the video above and check this out:

It’s remarkable how distracted we can get in this technologically advanced world. So every now and then we need to take a step back and take in what the world has to offer. Sometimes you just have to keep it simple. Remove the sound effects, turn down the bass and just Sit With Me!
