[MP3 + News] BADBADNOTGOOD – Confessions Pt III Feat. Colin Stetson

Toronto’s BADBADNOTGOOD just let go a loosie, a leftover track from the IV album sessions featuring Colin Stetson. Background here:

BADBADNOTGOOD is back to share a new song. “Confessions Pt III” features Colin Stetson, and starts out in a measured cadence before rising to a chaotic crescendo. The track is available to stream now, and will be available across all digital platforms 9/22. BADBADNOTGOOD is set to embark on a lengthy fall/winter tour that will take the band through North America and Europe, kicking off in Boston and wrapping up in December in Oakland. Tickets are on sale here.

BADBADNOTGOOD is also announcing a partnership with Carhartt W.I.P. who are sponsoring the upcoming tour and will release a collaborative capsule made in tandem with the band. Hear “Confessions Pt III” (feat. Colin Stetson) above, and see below for full tour routing and to read more about BADBADNOTGOOD.

[MP3] Spin So Nice – Mikomba

Spin So Nice - Mikomba

Full disclosure and proud to declare this track was made by a friend of mine, DJ Joe G under the name, Spin So Nice. I dig the dubby, trip hop vibe of it. If you were a fan of Massive Attack or Thievery Corp. circa the mid-late 90s, this might appeal. Check it….

Dude initially reached out to me about remix he did of FKA Twigs‘ “Glass & Patron” but soundcloud had removed the track by time I went to check it out. There was on his page however this track, which was a nice sounding slice of left-field electronic beat sorcery that you may dig.

[MP3] Just Blaze – Inhuman Nature

As Just Blaze put it:

Something to ride down the FDR to on a late night with the top down, reflecting on life… like Rocky in that one scene after Apollo died….”

Agreed! “Firm Family” used to be the song that I thought would be perfect in that scenario (although I was thinking West Side Highway was more scenic and apropos for that particular track).
