[MP3] Listen to Two Tracks from CMDWN COLLECTIVE – The Way She Move Feat. FIJI & Lil Yachty / Die In Supreme Feat. Ca$tro Guapo & Nessly

Like I was just saying, does extolling the idea of sipping lean and dying in Supreme sound as cool today as it did maybe up until 48 hours ago. For othose of you not knowing about the Toronto/ATL movement though, read on…

Rising rap collective, CMDWN comprised of rappers Ca$tro Guapo and Fiji and producer, Teo Nio just released two new singles. Premiering exclusively on PAPERMAG.com, the gritty “Die In Supreme” featuring Ca$tro Guapo & Nessly is an ode to the infamous street wear brand while the “The Way She Moves” is a melodic banger over a playful beat featuring Fiji and Lil Yatchy. These tracks reveal the unique and eclectic range in their music, both being featured on the highly anticipated “ATLANADA II,” set to release early 2018. The follow up to the critically acclaimed mixtape “ATLANADA” will also feature production from Wondagurl and Murda Beatz.

The duo known for birthing “high-fashion trap music” claim both new songs “embody what CMDWN represents as a whole; hard hitting beats, fashion, and an overall party vibe.” Attracting buzz for their cohesive vibe and chemistry, CMDWN is “more than just being a rap group, CMDWN is a lifestyle, and we try to portray that in our music. Linking up with Nessly and Yachty made sense because our relationship extends beyond music, is organic and coincides well with the ATLANADA theme. This is just a small taste of what’s to come.”

About CMDWN
The CMDWN Collective was founded by rapper Ca$tro Guapo & vocalist Fiji. They’re joined by producer and creative director Teo Nio. Recognized as an emerging industry force to be reckoned with, they are part of a new collaborative group of acts and producers that are blending their talent for music, design, and production into an immersive brand experience. Ca$tro Guapo has been changing Toronto’s hip-hop sound since moving to Canada in 2010. With his un-replicable flow, Ca$tro marries elements of his Atlanta roots with Toronto hip-hop flair to create something that is truly original. Fiji is a perfect example of the vibrant and raw hip-hop coming out of the Canadian scene. With memorable smile-inducing punch lines and catchy hooks, Fiji’s unmistakable brand of Toronto vocalized rap fits perfectly into The CMDWN Collective. After establishing a reputation for delivering buzzworthy singles and engaging performances, CMDWN are on deck to be Canada’s next major international hip-hop stars.
