Great new single by Toronto singer, Desiire. More hip-hop-y than stuff I’ve heard him do prior but the second track here, “No Feelings” featuring Jordan Jones from 3 months ago hinted at this being the direction he’s going in now. Very promising….
Last of the late night vibes. Arya Safakish, you killed this one!
The kid, Jahkoy from The 6ix is really hitting stride now. Both these tracks are FIYA! Embarrassingly, it’s been over two years since we last posted any music from him here at The Kitchen. We won’t let that happen again, trust!
New (to us) artist alert. Posting this Toronto MC’s new video, “Watchout” but truth be told, his last joint, “10 Toes Down” might be a little hotter?
Only feels like it was yesterday but it’s actually been a good few months since we posted Raz‘s last (no pun intended) joint, “Honey Brown / Money Brown.” Now’s he back with his ode to the Mary Jane or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays.
Not knowing who Raz Fresco is? Peep game:
Raz Fresco is back with his third music video off his latest mixtape, “H.U.S.T.L.E”. Featuring fellow local rapper and friend, 6th Letter, “HIGH” continues the mixtape’s main theme of assessing how one survives through life every day. “HIGH” puts the viewer and listener into Raz and 6th Letter’s world with visuals that accompany the both foggy yet introspective vibe. The video also gives a sneak peak of “One of Those”, a crisp track from “H.U.S.T.L.E” that features classic Raz lyricism and flow.
At 22 years old, Raz has already released over 8 projects and has produced music for the likes of Tyga, Big Sean, B.o.B, Wale, French Montana and Mac Miller. He’s shared the stage and toured with Styles P, Raekwon, Action Bronson, Ghostface Killah and Joey Bada$$.
