New Music: Thrill Da Playa – Awesome

Younger kids might not recognize but there was a short period of time around the time of “Tootsie Roll” and “C’mon Ride the Train” when Thrill da Playa (of 69 Boyz) was arguably the hottest producer in, not just the rap but all of pop music game, period. This track is from his User Friendly album (single dropped over the summer, not sure if the album drooped though??)

Music Video: Drum Squad – Let Cha Know
Another one my girl, Anousheh put me up on but I saw it later over at Kdough’s too. Drum Squad is a crew formed or co-signed by southern producer, Drumma Boy – the track might also actually be called “Let Em Know” and been mis-tagged on the Youtube page (?). Extra credit for having two female members!
