Print Ad for the Mel & D Show on Flow 93.5 in Toronto

Spotted this in the Metro newspaper today:

This isn’t that original in terms of the creative but considering in my mind the wack-ass ads they were running when I first moved back to Toronto last summer, by comparison, this is a huge improvement, believe me! I don’t listen to the show and this ad doesn’t make me want to either, I just thought it looked cool and wanted to acknowledge that Flow was at least trying to promote their product still. Fact is, I stopped listening to hip hop morning radio, even in NY, right around the time they sh-t canned the ‘Ed Lover and Dr. Dre Show’ on Hot 97. I’m more of an NPR man myself if I turn anything on nowadays….

Video: Dallas Penn – Vote Or Lie (and The Combat Jack Radio Show)

Dallas of DallasPenn.com and the internets celebrities went down to DC for last weekend’s Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Keep Fear Alive. His thoughts:

“There isn’t a difference anymore from a Conservative or a Liberal, a Democrat or Republican. Everyone is selfishly and self-righteously insane
.”

Agree?

Then hit the jump for a stream of last night’s edition of The Combat Jack Radio Show featuring Dallas alongside of course, the homie, Reggie O. (more…)
