From the Toronto homie, top DJ and former real soul record label impresario, Paul E. Lopes, one of the residents at the long-running monthly T.dot party Bump N Hustle, come a couple rare groove, slow jam mixes he actually did at least a couple years ago (as far as Vol. 1 goes, that is) that are prefect if you haven’t gotten your Valentine’s Evening activities crackin’ yet. Throw these on and leave a comment thanking me tomorrow morning for the best night of your life you’re about to have with your girl.

Apologies for the semi-cheesy, semi-NSFW (?) pic accompanying the great music though. Paul didn’t do any artwork for them. As he put it: “There’s no artwork for these mixes, they’re meant to be enjoyed with eyes closed…” Nuff said! Some of you young ‘uns might only know the name Charlie Wilson as the government name for Uncle Charlie, a frequent recent collaborator of Kanye West on his recently acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album and G.O.O.D. Friday series of free tracks at the end of last year.
