Directed by Warwick Saint. I’ve supported this artist in the past on the old Kitchen. She’s managed by the same dude who also manages Saidah Baba Talibah but while Saidah is a connoisseur’s thing for people who really appreciate good-quality, ‘real’ music Trish could a real contender on the Top 40 charts for the dollars & hearts of those who are out there buying Rihanna and Lady Gaga records right now (maybe…). Agree or not?

This track is from her Fine Line album made with beat maker, Junius Bervine (from N.E.R.D supposedly?) and apparently released six months ago by the indie label FLOW NY. Six months ago??! Yo Cilla, you need someone helping you with marketing – holla at me!
I know y’all ignore these links sometimes, so hit the jump to watch the video and cop the mp3 for her previous single, “Easy to Love” or to BUY the Fine Line album… (more…)

To celebrate the completion of her official debut album, (S)Cream. I saw her perform at her video premiere party back in August and she was SICK! Trust me, you don’t wanna miss this! Don’t believe me: watch this clip of her performing “Bang It Back” from that night. Bonus: my dude Paul E. Lopes is the DJ for the night.
Hit the jump to see the video for the song, “Place Called Grace” (more…)
This is actually from last summer (2009) but I just heard this chick on CKLN a couple weeks ago. With all due respect to Jully Black, is this Canada’s Mary J. Blige??! Check out this 11 track mixtape and tell me what you think:
