[Music Video + MP3] Tom Misch – Movie

This UK singer, Tom Misch trying to do it old school. This is a single from his forthcoming album, Geography due next April!

Tom Misch premieres the video for “Movie”, the first track to be lifted from his debut album Geography via his own label Beyond The Groove / Kobalt Music Recordings, due on April 6th. “Movie”, is a melodic ode to romance written by Tom and his long term collaborator Carmody, and featuring guest vocals at the start by Tom’s sister Polly Misch. The video features Tom and Polly Misch, and black and white home movies of Tom’s grandparents from 1945. The track displays a different side to Tom’s music as his calming voice lulls the listener into a daydream, giving us a taste of what is to come.

Check out my latest feature for R&B/Neo Soul artist from Chapel Hill, NC but currently residing in Atlanta, Eli Beth. She also doubles down as an actress under her given name, Anna Elizabeth and is one of the lead characters from the film “The Hopeless Journey” shot by Dontell Antonio and executive produced by artist Sy Ari Da Kid. The video, just released earlier this week, touches on a relationship where the man is afraid to commit and digs deeper into his history coming from an abusive household while feeling like he’s not good enough to take the next step with his partner.

Just 21 years old, Roy Wood$ has accomplished more in the span of two years than most people do in a lifetime. Born Denzel Spencer in Brampton, Ontario, Wood$ first caught the attention of award-winning rapper Drake in 2015, going on to be signed to the OVO SOUND label and debuting his first single “Drama” featuring Drake on OVO SOUND Radio in July of 2015. In 2016, Wood$ released his second project, Waking at Dawn, which was endorsed and promoted by Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Joe Kay of Soulection, peaking at #6 on the U.S. R&B Billboard Charts. After the large success of this project, Wood$ joined Drake and Future, as well as OVO SOUND artists dvsn and Majid Jordan on the international Summer Sixteen Tour. Also in 2016, Wood$ released his second EP Nocturnal through OVO SOUND, which garnered stellar reviews, in addition to the artist amassing 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 1 million social media followers across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
