“This is from a one sided white label 12″ that I got in London, UK – time-long ago! Mica Paris re-works “Should’ve Known Better” in dedication to helping Somalia at Christmas, with a few guests. There isn’t any info on the record so maybe a few of you UK Soul aficionados can help identify the vocalists and crappy rapper (Courtney Pine on sax?)”

I would have included some links to some appropriate charities but I wouldn’t know which were legit or effective or not (besides the biggies like the Red Cross, obviously). So maybe just do your own research if you’re feeling like being generous because life in Somalia ain’t much better now than when Mica & co. originally cut this record plus this is the season to be particularly mindful of the plight of our less blessed and less fortunate fellow man.
