An EDM/hip-hop crossover by UK newcomer, F-Zero (aka The Frostman) sampling Whitney Houston‘s “So Emotional.” Better than I would have predicted!
Best record Miguel never made? Not so much if you check out the original version of the track by this Stockholm, Sweden-based singer, that I don’t actually love as much as this remix, which you can do by hitting the jump….
I know I’m a tad late in blog time but where do I start with this one?? First off, did Lorde cover this topic (sexism & materialism in the music industry) better on her smash hit, “Royals”? And is this as racist and objectifying of Black bodies as the work by Miley Cyrus that Lily Allen seems to be critiquing in this parody video for her comeback, first single in four years?

Nice cover of the big pop/R&B banger from Drake‘s Nothing Was The Same smash hit album.
I won’t even lie: I didn’t know about this super-ratchet, viral smash, “Boss Ass B*tch” by PTAF (Pretty Taking All Fades) until DJ Retrokidd sent me his mash-up using it and Katy Perry‘s recent single, “Roar” via Facebook earlier this week. I personally have no words for “Boss Ass B*tch” but as a couple wags put it online, “I’m pretty sure this is the most ratchet thing to ever be on Youtube. EVER” and “This songs is the blackest thing I’ve ever heard” (sic). Not sure if that latter comment makes me lmao or breaks my heart?
