[MP3] Kendrick Lamar – Compton feat. Dr. Dre (Prod. by Just Blaze)

This track, from the forthcoming major label debut album, good Kid, m.A.A.d City by Kendrick, dropped yesterday. Produced by Just Blaze, mixed by Dr. Dre , how could it be anything other than pure heat-rock status?!

[MP3] Xzibit feat. King Tee & Tha Alkaholiks – Louis XIII (prod. Dr. Dre)

This is the one where X-to-tha-Z resolves all his notorious crew hopping on one FIYA new anthem for the left coast. Posted to commemorate me spending the weekend here in the City of Angels (even if I was mostly in downtown and Echo Park, not South Central). From the forthcoming, Xzibit album, Napalm dropping October 9. Dre, just give me 12 more like this, slap the Detox label on the front and I’m GOOD! Crazy…

[MP3] Durag Dynasty – The World’s Most Dangerous (prod. by Alchemist)

I guess I missed Durag Dynasty, a new ‘super-group’, featuring West Coast emcees Planet Asia, Killer Ben, and Tristate, on The Alchemist‘s Russian Roulette album. “The World’s Most Dangerous” is a new track from their debut album, 360 Waves, entirely produced by Alchemist, set to drop later this year.

Have Y’All Been Sleeping on the New Planet Asia Black Belt Theatre Album Like Me??

I was saying on twitter last night that the RDIO is my main discovery touch-point for new music and finding out which albums are out nowadays via the New Releases tabs on their website. F-ck a blog, tbh! That is where I saw long-time, underground MC, Planet Asia had dropped a new album called Black Belt Theatre yesterday. I clicked play on it out of curiosity and proceeded to have my mind half-melted. GREAT.F-CKING.ALBUM, seriously!

Then later last night I was trying to clear out my blog email mailbox and saw this promo mixtape, The Arrival with the NY homie and legendary mixtape DJ, Doo Wop sent out my his label, Wandering Worx to promote Black Belt Theatre. It starts off just OK but gets hot real quick. Click play fa sho’! And then hit the jump for an embed of the Black Belt album and some promo visuals from the album (note: the album embed will probably only work in countries where RDIO and the album is licensed and active, US, Canada and maybe Australia and Brazil??)
