New track by Toronto producer, DviousMindZ. Not bad but the dude singing, Jay Alexzander, sounds like a mix of The Weeknd and Brooklyn vocalist, Razah.
Excellent new track from Toronto electronic/alternative soul singer and friend of the Kitchen, Brendan Philip.

New King Reign!!!
Here is my first single “Killer” off upcoming album called “Sincere”! This is a story that represents the angst of growing up a target based on misconceptions and racial stereotypes. Speaking on the aspect of being a victim of circumstances and shedding light on living in a world where beauty is skin deep, where often judgments are made in haste based on our outer appearances. “Killer” describes the struggle many face as they tread a thin line between love and hate. Referencing Trayvon Martin, the judicial system, and the political system. Killer features production from Gameboy and scratches from Toronto’s DJ Grouch.
Previously on the Kitchen:
– King Reign – Dear God [MP3]
– King Reign – Grey feat. Shi Wisdom
– King Reign – The Meeting Place (Happy Endings) [MP3]
New track from Toronto-based jazz-hoppers, BADBADNOTGOOD.
Solid track I heard from Stina Bomb, a local Toronto female MC, while screening the hip-hop submissions for NXNE. Shades of Eternia and early 90s NYC hip-hop on this track from her In Desperate Times 8 track full length. I f-cks with it.
