[MP3] Quadron – Favourite Star (M-Rock’s Bangin’ Disco Edit)

Latest remix from local T.dot producer, M-Rock, this time tackling buzzy underground Euro-soul group, Quadron. A little Ivana Santilli sounding for my taste but it’s light, frothy & sweet sounding. Perfect like a Sunday brunch mimosa for this long (?), hot summer we’re having.

Also, look for M-Rock covering for Mark Ronson on his “Authentic Sh-t” radio show this week while he’s away where he’ll probably spin some of his recent remixes and edits!

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past couple weeks but my life is super busy right now and keeping the blog up to date has not been a priority recently. Hopefully I can do better moving ahead but I make no promises….

See Jai Nitai Lotus Live at Nocturne TONIGHT for Toronto’s NXNE Festival

Even though he didn’t make the just-announcned Polaris Music Prize Long List (despite my impassioned plea), you should check out excellent Montreal rapper, Jai Nitai Lotus‘s show tonight during NXNE, happening midnight at Nocturne. I’ll definitely be there. But will you??

Dig “Mingus Clap” and the video for it? Listen to the entire Something You Feel album by Jai Nitai Lotus HERE.

Where I’m pretty sure this (pic above) won’t be the set-list (other than “When We Die…”) depsite what Derek claimed on twitter, lmao….

Here’s a couple tracks from his most recent album, Jonestown 3.The Dream Is Over that might could be on the set-list though:
