In honor of going to the (very much under-appreciated) show last night, I felt like I had to post this track by Fashawn from his just-released The Ecology album. Dude put on an exemplary show and played with heart for what should have been a much bigger crowd. He’s also one of the rare rappers whose music actually kind of sounds better performed live than on record. Track is also featured on the latest Different Kitchen RDIO playlist.

BTW: apparently what Paul McCartney is whistling at the end is a sample of an unreleased track of his from 1970 called “When The Wind Is Blowing” (according to Stereogum that is).
