Originally released last year. Perfect for #TBT, it’s a TDE thing with “la musica de Harry Fraud“
Friend of the Kitchen, Shirt (formerly known as T.Shirt) is back with a new track in the wake of release of his well-received RAP album. “Bengal Tiger” is produced by United Crates.
This would have been a good track to post yesterday, the day I normally post more classic soulful or reggae sounds, if I wasn’t out and about enjoying the amazing weather we had then caught up semi-live tweeting the end of Hot 97’s Summerjam. The chorus on this new Common single has a real gospel/spiritual feel, no? This six minute plus epic is apparently from his forthcoming album, Nobody Smiling. I like it (it kind of reminds me of “The Corner” in style) and to his credit, it doesn’t feel six minutes long which is a good sign.
Great track to kick off Saturday night! Mad Decent Block Party coming end of July.
Is Birdman gonna turn Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan into the next Drake and Lil Wayne??
