I used to dis Jean Grae a few years back when she was really buzzing because, frankly, I thought the records she was making then were rubbish. No more though! The last two to three years, she has vastly improved as an MC and lyricist to the point where I’m now a fan. This latest track is no exception, she is AMAZING on this track. Just wrecking the mic. No joke. Listen to this and tell me she don’t sound great! Fantastic track, seriously. Ignore this at your peril.

I was not much of a fan of this kid during his come-up but I won’t front: his album, Finally Famous was pretty good as is this new mixtape which just dropped. The second half of the bonus final track, “Life Should Go On” (the “All I Know” section) featuring Wiz Khalifa (first half of track features Wale) samples Bloc Party‘s “Banquet.” It’s not the best track on there but it’s solid.
