Apparently shot in Nepal! I dig this….

New album from King I Divine, an affiliate of friend-of-the-Kitchen, blctxt. This is classic, boom bap hip-hop for those of you who dig, Detroit underground hip-hop, the stuff Duck Down records puts out (especially as produced by Marco Polo) or the music you might on DJ Eclipse‘s Halftime radio show. This album is part beat tape, part mixtape so it features a lot of instrumental tracks. MC’s: you know what to do!
MP3 Download: Fearless by Mickey Factz
New joint from the homie, Mickey Factz sent by my dude, Jared:
“I decided to start off May by just putting some thoughts out for the fans. I’m working on a lot of things but sometimes it feels like I’m not doing anything. So to quench the thirst of the people, I will be releasing Fearless which is a first of 7 releases with streamless conscious flowing. Aka a freestyle that’s actually thought out and well written.
First one is my attempt at tackling Drake’s Fear. I called up a couple of my fans and let them hear the verse as well as even putting a conf call # out to cipher with them. I have a deep appreciation for my followers and I hope this accepted by them.
I now present Fearless!”
Not just fearless but heartfelt too! But is this the track that Mickey was telling me to look out for dropping Tuesday on twitter? [UPDATE: apparently not according to Mickey so keep it LOCKED, people!!!]

Decent song and I know this video is trying to take soul back to it’s southern ‘hood roots but damn son, you couldn’t get even a low-budget stylist or take a trip to the mall to cop some gear so you didn’t look like you just came right out of your rec’ room for this video shoot?!
