Super dope (kind of) ‘cover’ of Prince‘s iconic “When Doves Cry” by Joey Badass. Really excited for were Joey is trying to do musically. He is confounding even my expectations of what he could do and certainly those of hip-hop conservatives and classicists out there for whom his early 90’s-inspired throwback music was a wet dream.

Georgia native, artistnameleon, is an independent recording artist based out of NYC. With no label or investors, he put his entrepreneurial mindset to use with a recently launched t-shirt line, ANL Tees, that sold out in a week before it even hit the online store. Now with 5 singles and an 8-track EP, Never Too Late, on Spotify, Pandora Radio, iTunes, and more, a music video on BULLETT Magazine and VEVO, along with several performances in NYC under his belt, artistnameleon is quickly building his fan base and paving the way for independent artists everywhere.
