[MP3] #TBT: E-Rule – Listen Up
Another #TBT Throwback from the mid-90s. This record was crazy (shout to the homies, Jerome and Bilal on this one) but was only a very cult, underground ht. Whatever happened to this dude though, I wonder??
[MP3] #TBT: diplo – Diplo Rhythm Feat. Vybz Cartel, Pantera Os Danadinhos & Sandra Melody
Throwback to this record ‘cos I was listening to Sleeping Bag Records Greatest Rap Hits last night featuring Mantronix because… well, if you really know your hip-hop, you know….
[MP3] Jay Electronica – #TBE The Curse Of Mayweather
Jay Electronica demonstrates absolutely the worst timing ever by dropping a dis track amed at Kendrick Lamar (and 50 cent?) yesterday! He’s dope but he’s not f-cking with K.dot, especially after last night’s show-stopping performance at The Grammys, plus “F-ck these white people“??! Says the dude who was dating the scion of literally the ‘Illuminati’! Smdh…
[MP3] James Blake – Modern Soul
The clanging Chinese street band-style percussion aside which I found a little distracting, this is a crackin’ ass song, no doubt! Looking forward to hearing the full Radio Silence album (if it’s still called that??) when it eventually gets scheduled for release.
[MP3] Kanye West – 30 HOURS (+ Pics From the Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Show / Listening Event)

Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past 48 hours, you know Kanye West premiered both Season 3 of his Yeezy clothing line collaboration with Adidas and his new The Life of Pablo album at a combined Fashion Show/Listening Event at Madison Square Garden two days ago (see the Facebook embedded gallery of screenshots from the TIDAL #tidalxyeezy3 #YeezySeason3 Livestream of the event featuring Naomi Campbell above).
It’s not clear to me when the album will actually be available even though various media sources keeps claiming it’s already ‘out’ (if it is, it’s, surprisingly, not on Jay Z‘s Tidal streaming service. UPDATE: sounds like Ye might be making some last minute changes to the album)
