Latest from the UK MD/MC (can’t believe he hasn’t done something around that title!) You know he’s a smart cookie ‘cos he makes references to Hegel in his rhymes! Chima goes in over one of my favorite tracks, Mount Kimbie‘s “Before I Move Off.” Hit the jump for the lyrics.
Previously on The Kitchen:
– Chima Anya – Hey feat. Sincere [Music Video]
– Chima Anya – Unresolved [Mixtape]
– Chima Anya – Never Know (Dorian Concept Sketch) [MP3]
This is hot but, while I know he has his issues with the Snowman, I’m not really down with Gibbs‘s recent dis track against Young Jeezy.
I know it’s not good, but I always have loved tracks that incorporate gunshot sounds into their production. This beat luckily makes up for some pretty substandard rhyme flows and cliche lines like, “I got the trap jumpin’ like Jordan!” Yawn….
Audego are new favorites here at the Kitchen. This is a hip-hop remix of their “From Blue” single. Check out their whole album though, it’s amazing! I really rate this duo. There’s a reason I jumped out the window and called them the new Portishead. Now go listen and see if I know what the hell I’m talking about!
One of my favorite tracks off the actually pretty solid Old Roads EP by local Toronto producer/songwriter Guzo Lou which dropped recently. Listen to the entire thing HERE. You non-T.dot folk wondering where you’ve seen Junia-T‘s name before? Probably from the Smash Brovaz Think It’s A Game album that dropped last year or from the other tracks I’ve posted on the Kitchen previously featuring him.
