From The Real Frequency presents The New North album which I’ve mentioned before. Have you checked it out yet?? If not, let me help you out. Step this way:

Regular readers remember the homie, Jeremy Glenn right?
Hit the jump also for Jeremy’s excellent Tropical Remix of Piper Davis‘ “Academics” which is old but my homegirl, Steph happened to post it on twitter the same day I got wind of this remix for some random (?) reason but without actually mentioning/crediting Jeremy though, weird!
Latest track from the Toronto nu-disco duo, The Makeover‘s clever Polaris Music Prize mixtape of cover songs from artists shortlisted for the Polaris which they have been releasing on a song a week basis for the past couple months. This radical reworking of The Weeknd‘s “The Morning” has been on repeat for much of this week since I first heard it (thanks to the heads up from group member Jeremy Glenn‘s manager, C. Hill). Now, if you were subscribed to the Kitchen Facebook page you would have heard this days ago. Don’t think about it, act like you know! Read more about the Makeover Polaris Mixtape on The Grid HERE.
MP3 stream (no download): The MAKEOVER – THE MORNING (The Weeknd MAKEOVER) by The MAKEOVER
Check out The Kitchen on Jeremy Glenn previously HERE then hit the jump to listen to the whole Makeover Polaris Mixtape. Sh-t is super-dope.
Where I’ll be tonight with the homies, DJ Paul E. Lopes and Mike Tull!
