[MP3 + Music Video] Dj Muggs Feat. Damian Marley, Everlast & Meyhem Lauren – Jump Around (25 Year Remix)

As someone who was deeply involved in the release of the first House of Pain album featuring the iconic, seminal single, “Jump Around” and a Coventry kid who grew up on 2 Tone music and idolizing the hometown heroes, The Specials, there was never any doubt that this super dope ska-ified remake remix of “Jump Around” by DJ Muggs, Everlast featuring Damian Marley and Meyhem Lauren was always gonna hold a special place in my heart. Enjoy as we approach the St. Patrick’s Day weekend….

[Album Stream] KILLY – Surrender Your Soul

What can I say about the kid, KILLY?

Blew up off “Killamonjaro”

We got up on the movement with “Forecast” which was one of our favorite singles of 2017.

He just dropped the single, “Very Scary” a couple weeks ago, which is not even on…

Surrender Your Soul, his first (?) official full length project which just dropped.

I’ll say this, I still stand by statements I’ve frequently made since getting up on him that I think he’s next to blow out The 6ix after Drake and Tory. Dude is more that just another identikit Soundcloud rapper. He’s one of the rare rappers who actually might be better live than on his records and the emo-tinged tracks, “Doomsday” and “Fireflies” from the album are evidence to me that the upside growth potential for this kid is massive. Agree?

[Album Stream + Music Video] Titus Calderbank – Subway Platform Mind

Apparently this dude, who I discovered while working on this year’s CBC Searchlight, is one the buzz acts in the Canadian industry right now leading up to next weekend’s Junos. What y’all think of him though?

[MP3] Here’s All the Recent Songs Future has Released or is Featured on….

After somewhat of a hiatus, Future Hendrix is back and a very busy man!

[MP3] Three Tracks from the Upcoming Rae Sremmurd Triple Album

The way Rae Sremm is planning on doing a triple album with solo albums by each member and a joint group disc is reminiscent of their ATL forebears, Outkast, no?
