Latest banger from the #DK11 homie, J Nolan. Peep the science….
“Welcome” is a personal record that recounts a lot of events from my upbringing and kind of details my personal story since my family decided to settle in the city of Atlanta when I was 8 years old. Produced by Tone Jonez, the sound is very much inspired by Graduation era Kanye West, one of my personal influences from when I first started making music. It also plays heavily into the theme of my new project.
The video was directed by Rex Novi and the song will be featured on my forthcoming Rise of ATLantis project that is officially set to be released on May 18th.
Ya dig??

From the official PR blurb:
On the heels of her nomination for “Top Rap Female” alongside Cardi B & Nicki Minaj (Ed note: what, no Rapsody??!) at this year’s Billboard Music Awards – Rap’s problem child, Bhad Bhabie releases her video for the smash hit, “Gucci Flip Flops” feat. Lil Yachty.
Continuing to live up to her name….
A little something to get your Friday night poppin’ and your weekend kicked off right from the Brooklyn-based Alex Mali. Think a more underground but still accessible Rihanna….
With a name and title as generic as this, I wasn’t expecting much but this was aight. There was definitely something to this track by a self-described, “Future R&B/Pop” artist. Agree?

Is Nicki back in the convo or is Cardi still reigning supreme? (Or is it the height of sexism to pit the two against one another in this way to begin with??)
