Just finished listening to the newly-released Atrocity Exhibition album by Danny Brown. As I opined on Twitter, it’s really, really good and this track is a stand-out from this excellent album. K.dot, Ab-Soul and Earl Sweatshirt, titans of the new school of hip-hop lyricism all together??! Yes, this is as good as you would expect. Go check out Atrocity Exhibition, you won’t be sorry. And you’re welcome, in advance….
Now this is real hip-hop! Producer (and my homie!), Domingo recruits a whole a raft of real spittas to completely annihilate his excellent flip of Big Daddy Kane‘s Golden Era classic, “Wrath Of Kane” including Joell Ortiz, Big Pun‘s son, Chris Rivers, Snow Tha Product, Token and Kane himself. Not only is the track pure FIYA though, the animated video, directed by Matt Cassero, is really well done too.
“Kill At Will: The Final Chapter” is a track from Domingo‘s forthcoming That’s Hip Hop: Generation Next album, set for release on October 14th, featuring all the previously mentioned MCs as well as Oswin Benjamin, Denzil Porter, Nutso, Thanos, Zooka Joe and more. Those of you who checked out Domingo’s last compilation album project, Same Game, New Rules know this new one should be an absolute banger!

Good to see T.I. getting so conscious in this part of his career. His discussion of the influence of hip-hop on so-called “Black-on-Black” crime on The Daily Show was amazing also.
