In response to what is developing around the world and within all of us, I poetically write a letter to my estranged father describing the current situation we are in with as well as the #IdleNoMore movement.

My fellow Canadians should have at least a passing awareness of this but in case you missed it or are reading from outside Canada in a country that does not have an indigenous or aboriginal population that has been galvanized by the birth of the IDLE NO MORE movement and the events of the past couple months, the goal of IDLE NO MORE is the “education and the revitalization of Indigenous peoples through Awareness and Empowerment. IDLE NO MORE has successfully encouraged knowledge sharing of Indigenous Sovereignty and Environmental Protections.” Click HERE to learn more.
