[MP3] Hala – Sorry / More Than Anything

We don’t post a ton of indie, guitar music but are always happy to do so when we hear stuff we dig. These two tracks by Hala, we dig. Late pass like a motherf*cker though, these been sitting in our ‘To Post’ pile for weeks, if not months now….

[MP3 + Music Video] LolaBunz – West End (Prod. By Trizzlam)

Saw this rapper at Adelaide Hall a few months back where this track was ringin’ off when she perfromed. Happy she made such a good video, directed by Ty Black, for it. Salute!

[MP3] KGoon – Goonie Gang

Throwback from MTL that came up on my autosuggest while on Spotify earlier today…

[MP3] Devontée – Real Rudebwoy Feat. Kardinal Offishall

Latest flex from one of Toronto’s more promising rappers on the come up:

Today, rising rap star Devontée unveils his new single “Real Rudebwoy” featuring Toronto rap legend Kardinal Offishall from his forthcoming Head Gone album. Over the last few years you’ve witnessed the talented producer and rapper’s steady ascent, releasing a slew of critically-acclaimed singles including “Bare Tings” – that originated the viral WOE phenom popularized in Drake’s “Know Yourself” – to notable collaborations and singles with NYC’s Pro Era stalwarts Joey Badass and CJ Fly. “Real Rudebwoy is a representation of Toronto culture in its fullest form, heavy bass, rhythmic drums, sweet lyrics and lots of flavour,” says Devontée, the cousin of Ayesha Curry, wife to NBA superstar Steph Curry. “The song is also about strong- minded women that know what they want and get what they want.”

[MP3] QueenStreetHush – Don’t Sleep On Me / Today

Don’t much about this new artist from the 6ix but he’s named after the street I live on and it’s some more of that Toronto Sound ish, so it’s straight in our books…
