[Music Video] JayKin – Japan Love

Know nothing about this Vancouver MC but apparently he learned his seemingly fluent Japanese from regular visits there (hence this song, d’uh!). Someone who’s done something more productive than just buying sneakers, rare vinyl and unreleased-in-N. America electronics while visiting the Land of the Rising Sun (do people still even use that phrase to describe Japan??!) although this track is from his forthcoming new Sneakers and Video Games mixtape which may belie my prior assumptions!

[Video] The Come Up Show interviews Art of Fresh & Kae Sun

“You might have heard of boom-bap music before but you most likely haven’t heard of butta fat boom-bap. This is where the Art of Fresh come in; consisting of producer/emcee Slakah The Beatchild and D.O.

In our interview the Art of Fresh discusses their sophomore album When The Night Comes In, touring Asia, and the universal language that we know as music.”

As y’all know Art of Fresh‘s When the Night Comes In was one of my favorite albums of last year. Check out some of it HERE and also HERE.
