[MP3] D-Sisive – Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye (FREE Album)

D-Sisive – Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye by urbnet

From D-Sisive:

“Hello friends.

My new album, Jonestown 2.Jimmy Go Bye Bye, is finally here. It’s the album I’ve always wanted to make. Instead of contrived quotes and a list of the past years achievements, I’d rather thank the people who helped make this album the masterpiece that it is. I apologize for using such an arrogant adjective, but that’s how I feel about this LP, therefore I retract my apology. 😉

If it weren’t for Muneshine, Darryl & Janusz (Urbnet), Timbuktu, Ghettosocks, Norman Krates, Adam Bomb, Lil’ Jaz and Pink Eyes
, Jonestown 2 would not be. Two failed release dates and a number of re-writes were the results of insecurity, developed from the response received from my last LP, Vaudeville. It held me back from releasing this project. I felt I lost it.

Then I wrote ‘If I Live To See Tomorrow’. The single that brought everyone back that I lost with
Vaudeville. Muneshine and I hit the studio, and the people I mentioned above bent over backwards to help me create this record.

This isn’t much of a press release. It also isn’t a reach for pity.

“Take Jonestown, take it all…Take my catalogue, I don’t want your cash : Just listen to the songs..That’s all I ask : I’m tired of writing for the walls…” – ‘If I Live To See Tomorrow’

I hope you likey.

Derek”

The souncloud player above has formatted the album as one long track which is great if you have the time to listen to the album like that. Wanna be able skip track-to-track though? Hit the jump for the bandcamp player.

One commenter there’s response: “This is exactly why I left hip-hop and the reason why your magazine failed. If you n-ggas is actually taking the time to pen up the poster child for gay rap in the industry as some new phenomenon you n-ggas has got to be crazy. No standards and no morals. How can you n-ggas even be inspired to write? I mean look at the god damn photos of this kid WTF is wrong with yall trying to convince us of this bullsh-t. What the hell happened to you guys? Anything for a story or some damn hits. The source is at all time low for this right here.”

And someone’s response to him: “see the thing is… NOBODY CARES THAT YOU LEFT HIP-HOP.. and if you don’t like his music, or the magazine.. why did you take the time out of you life to read the article.. you my friend are what we call a “hater”. and no matter how much you HATE, Lil B is still going to be successful and your going to sit on the computer and talk negatively like the lifeless nobody you are.. ”

You gotta love the hip-hop internets!

In the meantime, Lil B is on the cover of XXL as part of their 2011 Freshman Class.
